Promising Geelong midfielder Nakia Cockatoo has suffered another soft tissue injury, in his first competitive match since round three.
Cockatoo injured his PCL against the Eagles in round three and returned through the VFL on Sunday against Sandringham, although he could only play 10 minutes before suffering a left hamstring injury.
Cockatoo had three seperate right hamstring injuries last season, and has only played 11, 10 and 11 games during his first three full seasons at the Cats.
The 21-year-old has only played two AFL matches so far this season, and this latest setback could put a dampener on his bid to return to the senior side in 2018.
During the pre-season, Cockatoo was suffering from a calf injury, with soft tissue injuries all over the body hampering his career at Geelong.
