Fremantle's Ed Langdon has decided to put all contract talk on hold until season's end.

With the talented youngster out of contract at the end of 2019, he told the media that he wanted to focus on his footy.

"It's probably not something I'll look to address until the back half of the year," Langdon told reporters on Thursday.

"I don't want to complicate my footy too much at the moment."

Ed has received interest from Melbourne clubs, including Collingwood, where brother Tom plays and just re-signed at the end of last season.

"I've played a few games with my brother, and you're always going to want to play with your brother, that's pretty natural," Langdon said.

"But it's not something I'll be considering anytime soon."

Fremantle are keen to re-sign the running midfielder, who has secured a spot in a young Dockers side. He played 21 games in season 2018 after playing 25 in the three seasons before that.

Langdon has averaged 26 touches and 7 marks in the first four rounds and looks to continue his form against the Giants in Canberra this Saturday.
