A total of 181 players will be eligible for the 2025 AFL Rising Star Award, with new draftees and some familiar names among the top contenders for this year's title.
Carlton, GWS and West Coast have the most eligible players with 13 each, while a further four clubs have at least a dozen.
The Blues' top draft pick from 2024, Jagga Smith, will be among those favoured for the gong, with the Oakleigh Chargers product likely to feature prominently at senior level in his maiden season.
West Coast's Bo Allan, Adelaide's Sid Draper and Richmond duo Sam Lalor and Josh Smillie could also have an immediate impact in their debut campaigns, as could Brisbane father-son Levi Ashcroft and fellow top 10 pick Tobie Travaglia.
Over-age players in Essendon's Nate Caddy and Gold Coast's Jake Rogers are eligible for this year's Rising Star while also having picked up nominations for last year's award.
The likes of Adelaide's Dan Curtin, St Kilda's Hugo Garcia and Collingwood's Ed Allan are others to watch after they got glimpses of AFL action last year.
Players are required to be under 21 years of age as of January 1, 2025 and must have played no more than 10 career games already to be eligible for the Rising Star.
