We've scattered back through each National Draft of the past decade to uncover every club's bargain pickup.

This list looks at each club's ability to recruit young prospects in the National Draft, whether it be top-end talents or diamonds in the rough.

Each player was selected primarily by their value for pick, with many players being taken outside the first round. Some players have demanded a spot despite an early draft night selection, however these picks have been reserved for the absolute cream of the crop.

This list only includes National Draft selections - excluding Rookie and/or Mini Draft picks, while father-son and Academy selections have also not been considered.ย

8. Gold Coast

Touk Miller (pick 29, 2014)

Miller has only risen to superstar status in the last two seasons but he may well retire as Gold Coast's greatest one-club player.

He is currently a two-time best & fairest, joint winner of the 2022 Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year Award and is the only Gold Coast player along with Gary Ablett Jnr. to ever make multiple All-Australian sides, having two blazers to his name.

He is now consistently among the best midfielders in the competition when regarding contested possessions and tackles and he deserves tremendous credit for his development during significantly poor years at an expansion club.

Hopefully he is rewarded with future success in a Suns team littered with potential.

Honourable mention/s: Charlie Ballard, pick 42 (2017)
