Another trade window has come and gone, with almost every club parting and welcoming key list and draft assets for the 2022 season. Some sides have utilised the exchange period to bolster their list in rapid fashion, while others have looked to package picks ahead of next month's National Draft. With the window now closed, below is each and every club's gains and losses from the trade and free agency period. SEE: Updated list of AFL Draft picks and points Adelaide The Crows got their man in Jordan Dawson without having to part ways with either of their own first-round selections, sending the Demons' future first selection to the Swans in what was a major coup for Adelaide. Lost Jake Kelly via free agency, however Matthew Nicks won't be overly fazed given his crop of defenders on the rise. Ins: Jordan Dawson Picks 33, 42 (Jake Kelly compensation), 75, Outs: Jake Kelly (Essendon) Picks 23, 37, 44 Brisbane A quiet trade period for the Lions until the last minute, securing Cats ruckman Darcy Fort while also swapping selections with the Cats in that deal. Ins: Darcy Fort Pick 41 Outs: Picks 50, future third-round Carlton The Blues were able to tick just about every box they had on their shopping list, with Adam Cerra headline a trio of arrivals at Ikon Park. Parted ways with Sam Petrevski-Seton to West Coast, along with Pick 6 also heading to Perth in the Cerra deal. Ins: Adam Cerra George Hewett Lewis Young Outs: Sam Petrevski-Seton Picks 6, 52, future third-round Collingwood Managed to secure their two main targets in Patrick Lipinski and Nathan Kreuger as well as being able to bundle picks for Nick Daicos ahead of the National Draft. Bid farewell to Max Lynch on deadline day, with several selections also leaving the Holden Centre in order to open up further points for a high bid on Daicos. Ins: Nathan Kreuger Patrick Lipinski Picks 27, 46, 55, 58, 79, future third-round Outs: Picks 22, 41, future second-round, future third-round, future fourth-round Essendon The Bomber were able to secure the services of Jake Kelly from the Crows early into the free agency window. Failed to trade in Bobby Hill from the Giants, however they keep their draft hands for this season and next. Ins: Jake Kelly Outs: Nothing Fremantle Lost Adam Cerra, however were able to boost their draft hand substantially in trades with the Blues and Suns. Managed to secure Jordan Clark from Geelong, giving up Pick 22 and Carlton's future third-round selection, while also gaining back a future fourth-round selection. Ins: Jordan Clark Will Brodie Picks 6, 19, 22, 61, 69, Outs: Adam Cerra Picks 22, 27, future second-round, future third-round, future third-round, future fourth-round Geelong Lost tall duo Nathan Kreuger and Darcy Fort along with Jordan Clark to Fremantle, but were able to secure Jonathon Ceglar from the Hawks. Will enter the 2021 National Draft without a first-round selection - which was sent to Punt Road in 2020- but jump into Pick 22 after parting ways with Clark. Ins: Jonathon Ceglar Picks 22, 50, future third-round, future fourth-round Outs: Darcy Fort Jordan Clark Nathan Kreuger Pick 55, future fourth-round Gold Coast Secured Mabior Chol on day one of the free agency period in what was a great coup for the Suns, who kept fairly quiet after their opening deal. Moved on Will Brodie to Fremantle along with Pick 19, while Pick 22 also made its way to the Dockers after stopping by Collingwood. Ins: Mabior Chol Future second-round, future second-round, future third-round, future fourth-round Outs: Will Brodie Picks 19, 22, 46, 58, 61, 69, 79, future fourth-round selection Greater Western Sydney Weren't able to secure a forward option despite losing Jeremy Finlayson, with future selection coming to the Giants in return. Had an interest in Haws duo Luke Bruest and Chad Wingard, however the pair are contracted and remained keen on staying at Waverley. Ins: Future third-round Outs: Jeremy Finlayson Hawthorn Were able to secure Max Lynch from the Magpies while also moving on Jonathon Ceglar in what is a swift swap in the Hawks' ruck stocks. Lost Tim O'Brien without picking up compensation, however were able to keep their star players despite some concern and speculation. Ins: Max Lynch Future third-round selection, Future fourth-round selection Outs: Jonathon Ceglar Tim O'Brien Melbourne Picked up Luke Dunstan in free agency, with the outcasted Saints midfielder set to add great depths to the premiers' engine room. Move back into the first round of the draft, however did part ways with their future top selection. Ins: Luke Dunstan Picks 17, 37 and 49 Outs: Picks 33, 45, future first-round North Melbourne Were able to facilitate a deal with Richmond to land Callum Coleman-Jones and move on Robbie Tarrant with some assets also coming back to Arden Street. Despite the interest, the Kangaroos were able to hold Pick 1 for next month's draft along with Tristan Xerri. Ins: Callum Coleman-Jones Picks 42, 47, future fourth-round Outs: Robbie Tarrant Picks 40, future second-round Port Adelaide Gained Jeremy Finlayson from the Giants for a future third-round selection in a bargain move for Ken Hinkley's side. Lost Peter Ladhams to Sydney, however moved up to Pick 12 in the opening round of the National Draft. Ins: Pick 12, future third-round Jeremy Finlayson Outs: Peter Ladhams Pick 16, Future third-round selection Richmond Bid farewell to Callum Coleman-Jones and Mabior Chol in what was a double blow for the Tigers, however they were able to hold their compensation for the latter after dealing Coleman-Jones to the Kangaroos in a trade that involved free agent Robbie Tarrant. Also secured North Melbourne's future second-round selection in the CCJ trade, which will be a helpful asset come 2022. Ins: Robbie Tarrant Pick 38 (Mabior Chol compensation), 40, future second-round Outs: Mabior Chol Callum Coleman-Jones Picks 42, 47, future fourth-round St Kilda Failed to reach an agreement with North Melbourne for Tristan Xerri, meaning no player was recruited within the window. No compensation for Dunstan, which is no loss for the Saints after originally culling the onballer this off-season. Ins: Picks 62, 66, future fourth-round Outs: Luke Dunstan Pick 49 Sydney Lost both George Hewett and Jordan Dawson for a less-than-desired return overall, receiving Melbourne's future first in a straight swap for Dawson following ongoing discussions with the Crows. Were able to secure Peter Ladhams, however it required Sydney to move back in their spot atop the draft board. Ins: Peter Ladhams Pick 16, 39 (George Hewett compensation), future first-round Outs: Jordan Dawson George Hewett Pick 12, future third-round selection West Coast A quieter trade window for the Eagles, moving for Sam Petrevski-Seton and landing the Blues midfielder for the cheap price of Pick 52. Ins: Sam Petrevski-Seton Outs: Pick 52 Western Bulldogs Bring in high-flying Hawk Tim O'Brien to bolster their defence after losing Lewis Youg to Carlton. Also moved on Patrick Lipinski to Collingwood, but were able to gain the draft points to match a high-end bid for father-son prospect Sam Darcy.
